Camper Groups
Camp Summertime maintains small group size to ensure
the best individual attention for you child. Each group averages 12 campers
that are supervised by both a senior counselor (of college age and older) and
a junior counselor (a high school volunteer). All campers entering 1st grade
and above are placed in groups based upon their gender, age and grade in
school. Campers entering pre-K and Kindergarten are placed in co-ed groups.
All campers will experience a full day of activities from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30
p.m. Extended care is also available
from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Leadership
(Grades 7th 8th and 9th)
An exclusive program that gives camper the opportunity to learn the skills of
camp counseling and have fun with their own group of friends. Leadership
participants create individual and group projects, plan camp-wide activities
and go on off-site trips. This program is three days a week (TWTh). Enrollment is limited. All participants
are carefully selected.
Transportation
Camp Summertime has an outstanding transportation system. All campers
travel to and from camp on certified school busses. The professional
year round bus drivers pick up campers at convenient central locations
between 8:30 am and 9:15 am each day. The campers are dropped off in the
afternoon between 3:45 pm and 4:30 pm. Camp Counselors ride the busses
with the campers as well to help supervise and make the journey to and
from camp a fun experience. Camp transportation serves Agoura Hills,
