Camp Summertime - A Day Camp Located in Malibu, California

In 1965, Camp Summertime was established by the Lefitz family as a traditional day camp based on strong staff, new friendships and camper growth within a non competitive environment. Although activities and programs have varied over the years, the commitment to providing a high quality day camp environment has remained the same.

Camp Fire

Mark Greenblatt returns as Executive Director. With over 15 years experience, Mark's varied background includes the direction of day camps, residential camps and year round enrichment programs. As a member and certified visitor of the American Camping Association, Mark is committed to providing the highest quality program at Camp Summertime.

Senior Director, Jennifer Greenblatt brings with her over 12 years of day camping experience. Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor's degree specializing in Child Development. Her experience with day camps, over-night camps, preschools and children's fitness programs continues to enhance the Camp Summertime program.

Camp Summertime is fully accredited with the American Camping Association. This national association sets the highest standards for camps in the areas of program, staff, health and safety.

Location

Camp Summertime is located at beautiful Calamigos Ranch in the Agoura Hills / Malibu area. This unique facility offers 120 private acres including 2 ponds and 3 swimming pools for campers ages 4-14. A short 10-minute drive from the 101 freeway in Agoura or 6 miles from the Pacific Ocean in Malibu. Calamigos Ranch was home for one of the earliest camps in California dating back to the 1940's. This strong tradition continues with Camp Summertime.
